Have you ever taken a last&nbsp;minute&nbsp;flight and payed a fortune for it?&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Well, all of this happened to me last month when I thought being an au pair could be a good idea to stay longer in Australia. My&nbsp;accident in Bali&nbsp;changed&nbsp;my plans and&nbsp;returning to Sydney without a place to live, a job and not many&nbsp;dollars on my wallet was HARD. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Find out why a nanny job with payed&nbsp;accommodation, food and pocket money turned out to be (ONE of) my worst ideas&nbsp;ever. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Isto de ser Au Pair tem muito que se lhe diga\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estava eu empanada com isto da perna h\u00e1 mais de 1 m\u00eas quando decidi parar de viajar e voltar para Sidney.\u00a0Uma queda que parecia ser simples (afinal n\u00e3o parti nada), tornou-se num\u00a0<strong>31 do cara\u00e7as<\/strong>: ainda me lembro do m\u00e9dico me dizer que 5 dias depois devia estar boa. Hoje, quase 3 meses depois, ainda tenho dores!! Pois, \u00e9!! Basicamente nenhuma empresa quer saber de n\u00f3s porque somos um investimento a fundo perdido, afinal:&nbsp;<em>\u201cQue ganha a empresa connosco quando nos tem de pagar forma\u00e7\u00e3o durante 1 semana (mais&nbsp;<\/em><em>coisa menos coisa<\/em><em>) e 3 meses depois temos de ir embora? NADA!\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E, foi assim que me lembrei de procurar trabalhos como&nbsp;<strong><em>nanny<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp;H\u00e1 anos que a ideia pairava na minha cabe\u00e7a e o&nbsp;<em>deal<\/em>&nbsp;de viver com uma fam\u00edlia, deixar os mi\u00fados na escola e ter o dia para mim parecia-me MUITO atrativo. E, de repente, tudo parecia encaixar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nada de esfor\u00e7os f\u00edsicos;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nada de despesas com renda, transportes e comida;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>E dinheiro de bolso para as minhas coisinhas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uma semana depois, j\u00e1 tinha contactado v\u00e1rias fam\u00edlias e na semana seguinte j\u00e1 me tinha comprometido com uma.&nbsp;<strong>Aquilo que parecia a solu\u00e7\u00e3o perfeita, rapidamente se tornou um desastre!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na verdade,&nbsp;<strong>a minha paci\u00eancia para crian\u00e7as \u00e9 pouca e aquilo que supostamente seria um&nbsp;<em>part-time (dias livres para mim)&nbsp;<\/em>rapidamente se demonstrou num&nbsp;<em>full-time&nbsp;<\/em>de mais de 35h.<\/strong>&nbsp;Amigos, eu come\u00e7ava com os mi\u00fados \u00e0s 7 da manh\u00e3 e s\u00f3 \u00e0s 7 da noite \u00e9 que terminava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0quilo que seria levar e buscar as crian\u00e7as \u00e0 escola rapidamente se juntou: fazer o jantar para toda a fam\u00edlia, cuidar da roupa, limpar casa, passear o c\u00e3o\u2026&nbsp;SIM, a m\u00e3e com a maior subtilidade dizia-me:&nbsp;<strong><em>Well, the washing machine just finished and I am already running la<\/em><em>te<\/em><em>; \u201cWe\u201d try to empty the dishwasher every morning; \u201cWe\u201d usually wash the floor on Monday.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sinceramente, comecei a ver a minha vida a andar para tr\u00e1s. Aquilo estava longe de ser um \u00f3timo&nbsp;<em>deal<\/em>. N\u00e3o pagava renda e tinha um dinheirinho mas o tempo para mim era pouco ou nenhum. J\u00e1 para n\u00e3o falar que de um dia para o outro tinha virado dona de casa (que n\u00e3o era bem o meu sonho aos 26 anos)! 2 dias depois de ter come\u00e7ado falei com a m\u00e3e e a coisa descambou.&nbsp;<strong>Ela achava tudo normal e eu achava tudo ridiculamente anormal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E pronto, a minha experi\u00eancia de\u00a0<strong>au pair\u00a0<\/strong>acabou por\u00a0<strong>n\u00e3o durar mais de 1 semana!\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 sim filhos, eu c\u00e1, quando vejo a coisa a correr mal n\u00e3o mastigo o assunto\u00a0durante meses (isto na vida n\u00e3o h\u00e1 tempo a perder).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"298\" src=\"http:\/\/danielamatinho.webrand.agency\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/giphy.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4460\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Gata borralheira em vers\u00e3o Daniela<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>N\u00c3O GOZEM COMIGO\u2026 N\u00e3o pode sempre correr bem, n\u00e3o \u00e9 verdade?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depois de uma semana em que me senti literalmente uma<strong>\u00a0m****\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0Enganada e explorada, cheguei a acordo com a fam\u00edlia e vim-me embora.\u00a0E em 2 dias.: Liguei \u00e0 minha m\u00e3e a dizer que estava a pensar voltar a Portugal, comprei o bilhete, fiz as malas e disse at\u00e9 j\u00e1 \u00e0 Austr\u00e1lia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ATEN\u00c7\u00c3O<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>N\u00e3o se assustem!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nem todas as fam\u00edlias s\u00e3o iguais e tenho muitas amigas que tiveram experi\u00eancias fant\u00e1sticas como&nbsp;<strong>au pair&nbsp;<\/strong>em diferentes pa\u00edses. O que \u00e9 isso de ser au pair?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basicamente \u00e9 uma&nbsp;<em>nanny&nbsp;<\/em>(pessoa que toma conta de crian\u00e7as) que vive com a fam\u00edlia das crian\u00e7as.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Onde encontraste a fam\u00edlia?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No site&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aupair.com\/\">www.aupairworld.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A inscri\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 gratuita! Basta criar um perfil e contactar fam\u00edlias que tenham o \u201cperfil\u201d que procuramos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Como foi o contacto com a fam\u00edlia?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Muito simples. Contactei a fam\u00edlia pelo site e quando a fam\u00edlia se demonstrou interessada em mim, contactei-os por telefone. Visitei a casa dias mais tarde e, posteriormente, vi os meninos 2 vezes antes de me mudar (tudo parecia perfeito ahahah).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Quantas crian\u00e7as tinhas a teu cargo?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2! Uma menina de 4 anos e um menino de 6 anos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. \u00c9 f\u00e1cil lidar com crian\u00e7as?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depende da educa\u00e7\u00e3o que os pais lhe d\u00e3o. Depende da paci\u00eancia de cada um. E das expectativas de cada um. Para mim, foi muito dif\u00edcil, e da\u00ed ter percebido logo que aquilo n\u00e3o era para mim.&nbsp;Mas somos todos diferentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Quanto te pagavam?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">$250 por semana, alojamento, comida e $20 para transportes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Um desabafo daquilo que \u00e9 viver pelo mundo. Nem sempre corre bem, nem sempre corre como queremos e muitas vezes est\u00e1 longe de ser perfeito como muitos imaginam.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E por a\u00ed?
